Coping with grief, new beginnings and more…

Yes, it has been over 9 months since I have posted anything and I am hoping some of you out there have been getting restless and have been wondering where I have been off to!

Well, I was very much here and dealing with the ups and downs of life, the ups and downs that have temporarily taken away my capacity and will to write and share much…

But I am back and am I back how!

Firstly, I am very happy to announce that I am pregnant! Yes I am! Now that’s the great news that been keeping me busy…

Apart from that, the year did start on a sad note, with me losing my mom. She was battling cancer for almost a year, and early in the morning on the 31st of December, she breathed her last. That has been and still is a lot to handle but sometimes, we do not know or understand why certain things happen the way they do, so we learn to cope!

But God is good always, and even though it is really hard, when you have a little faith you will see how much more God loves the brokenhearted. It is only that love that has made it possible for my family and me to stay strong, even when that is the last thing we want to be. And it is that love that has given us, my husband Santosh and I, the biggest blessing, at the right time and when we most needed it. So yes, God is always good and loves the brokenhearted.

‘The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. ‘ Psalm 34:18

‘He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. ‘ Psalm 147:3

‘My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. ‘ Psalm 73:26

‘ “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God ; believe also in me. ‘ John 14:1

‘And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. ‘ Romans 8:28

‘ Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. ‘ Matthew 5:4
